A new book arousing old recollections of Croydon is promising to take residents on a trip down memory lane the moment they open the cover.

More Memories of Croydon was published last month. Published by True North Books Ltd., it is a collection of photographs of days gone by with contributions from local historian John Gent and Croydon Local Studies Library to name a few.

Some readers will have vivid recollections of some of the events and featured in the book, and those who don't remember can re-live the days of Royal visits, street parties and the grand architecture that preceded the high rise office blocks.
